theblaarg: Day 03 - Favorite Celebrity Encounter: Cartoon Network I was lucky enough to attend Dragon*Con last year. It was my first convention ever, and I loved being surrounded by other dorks like myself. Most of the celebrity guests were awesome, but my absolute favorites were those associated with Cartoon Network. They were down-to-earth and hilarious, and I’d love to work with people like that. They inspired me to hold onto my dream of becoming an animator, or just working in that field in general. From left to right, it’s Tom Kenny, Dana Snyder, Billy West, Joe DiMaggio, George Lowe, and C. Martin Croker (who is also an animation director). At another more informal Cartoon Network panel, Dana Snyder just rambled about everything. I also talked with the gentleman who voiced Mr. Larrity and Dean from the show Code Monkeys. He’s also an animator, and I believe animation director, and he gave me a lot of great advice as to what to do. (I pretty much need to move to California, Atlanta, or New York.) He is also super tall which was kinda distracting. 30 Day Celebrity Challenge

Most of the celebrity guests were awesome, but my absolute favorites were those associated with Cartoon Network. They were down-to-earth and hilarious, and I’d love to work with people like that. They inspired me to hold onto my dream of becoming an animator, or just working in that field in general.
